See! A Gemini Rising isn't completely gone!

 Remember when I went to Cabo last October and had pink hair? Well, if you don't remember, I did go and became a mermaid for the gorgeous jewelry line Kontraho. It was my first time in Mexico (shocking considering I am a southern California native) and I loved it. But I knew I would. Anyways, the whole 'Atargatis' line is definitely something a pink-haired mermaid would wear, in or out of the water.

I'm a week late but...HAPPY NEW YEAR! I like the number 13, I think it's gonna be a good year, a little lucky. Since it's a new year and I wanted a fresh start I've re-launched my tumblr to become my daily style diary. I'll be posting a look a day from Monday through Friday featuring my favorite designers and vintage finds. I have been neglecting this blog a bit but I'm not deserting it. I will still be posting any happenings in my life and stuff I'm digging at the moment.

Happy Monday! I'm super excited the holidays are starting this week...can't wait to Thanksgiving-it-up on Thursday, and lets be honest, Wednesday night (Thanksgiving Eve) has always been one of the best nights to party. Im not sure why, but it is. This is what I'm into this month...

 -First off, we moved to Laurel Canyon last week! I love it here. Its magical and stuff like this happened here once upon a time. I've always wanted to live here, and now I do! Gonna miss Silverlake, but a change is always nice.

-Crowns. I predict you will be seeing my wear some sort of crown soon.

-Androgyny Collective. For a chick who loves motorcycle jackets and shitty t-shirts, this shop is a dream. Here are a few of my favorite pieces...

-The Life on Mars editorial from Wasteland. Especially love the trippy kaleidoscope-style images...and of course the hair color.

-Fuzzy things. Its time to start wearing fuzzy things.

-And finally, hologram heels. Yes. Please. Thank you.

For the past couple of months my good friend and amazing filmmaker Lauren Graham and I have been shooting a short film entitled 'This Cigarette.' To promote the film, LA CANVAS featured the two of us in an editorial shot by Danielle Defoe for their most recent issue. We shot in Palm Springs, high up in the Hollywood Hills and at a crazy creepy motel in LA. We definitely had an adventure. I'm very excited to get this film out, it has been such a cool, fun experience and I can't wait to see how it all came together. Until then, here's the two of us being all cinematic.
